I'm in 6th form and applied to uni, but now without my final exams they'll use my predicted grades, which weren't really good because my gran was going through a difficult time and now... Been working really hard for the exams but they're now cancelled )))): I've applied for extenuating circumstances at the uni I want to go to, but I'm really scared they won't accept me

My mom is usually cognitively ok, just a little slow to understand sometimes, but recently she got really confused and kept referring to my boyfriend as our gardener. I took her to the doctor and he said she had a UTI which is what's making her confused. Is that really how it works??? I know most people here aren't doctors but just wanted to know what other people experiences with this have been
